We Will Deliver Justice
The September 11th attacks were an affront to
all Americans borne out of unimaginable hatred for
this nation and the values we represent The sole
purpose of these senseless acts was to cause maximum
destruction to America, its citizens, and the institutions
we hold dear.
Despite these monstrous deeds, America still stands.
We are a people of great strength, compassion, and
character.
It is only fitting, therefore, that the American
people, through their government, have undertaken
to provide justice, through the creation of the
September 11th Victim Compensation Fund, for the
unspeakable tragedy that has befallen the innocent
victims and their families.
If ever there were a time when lawyers
could pursue their calling for a noble purpose;
if ever there were a cause that demanded our
most magnificent effort as lawyers, as human
beings, as Americans – this is it.
Trial Lawyers Care, Inc., is a non-profit
corporation set up by volunteer trial lawyers
across the nation to provide free legal services
to the September 11th terrorist attack victims who
are eligible and choose to make claims under the
federal September 11th Victim Compensation Fund.
We ask all lawyers with appropriate experience
to volunteer and shepherd these cases through
the Fund from beginning to end.

All American citizens have responded to the terrorist
attacks with a new sense of resolve, spirit and
charity. In the same way, America's trial lawyers
are volunteering to do what they do best -- provide
outstanding legal counsel to people who were injured
or killed through no fault of their own and want
to seek compensation through the Fund.
As trial lawyers we strive to keep families safe,
fighting for healthy and safe conditions at home,
at play, and in the workplace. We understand a family's
longing to feel whole after a catastrophic event
and the need to achieve closure.
We call upon you to volunteer for Trial
Lawyers Care - the largest pro bono effort ever
undertaken.
This is the right thing to do. The contribution
of your legal services will make a profound difference
to thousands of people as they take the next steps
toward regaining their lives through the Fund. We
expect no less from the legal profession.
